Taking place in the second quarter of 2009 in Alberta's Capital City, the Edmonton Game Convention is poised to become Canada's premiere consumer oriented game convention.

The EGC will bring together gamers of all ages and kinds -- young and old, hard-core and casual -- in a welcoming environment where all attendees are free to spend a weekend playing games and engaging in opportunities for dialogue about the world of games.

While this could be seen as just another game convention, we are truly different. As a non-profit society, all attendees become members of the organization and can have a say in how things are being done. This is a truly consumer oriented convention -- the only one in Canada that can say it is indeed organized for gamers by gamers.
